Terms & Conditions

Intelligent Touch offers remedial massage therapy treatments, skin care consultations, facials ans Hopi ear candling and other complimentary therapy treatments at BA9 9GJ only.

All treatments are executed in a strict professional manner. 

The following Terms and Conditions are compulsory to all treatment structures. 

Payments:-

You must pay for treatments via exact cash of the appointment value or bank transfer immediately after your appointment and within 24 hours unless you have been subject to a booking fee/ cancellation / rescheduling fee. Please see the below cancellation and rescheduling policy

Appointments:-

All appointments must be booked via Denise Nash of Intelligent Touch and all treatments are via appointment only. 

All appointments must be attended unless cancelled or rescheduled under reasonable terms with a reasonable time scale and in line with the businesses terms and conditions.

Illnesses:-

If you develop the symptoms of COVID please ensure you have a negative test on the day of your appointment or contact me to rearrange your appointment if your test if positive.

It is preferable that clients carry out a lateral flow test prior to their appointment with a negative result if you have COVID within your household. If you are not comfortable with taking a lateral flow on the day of your app whilst there is COVID in your household, then please contact me to rearrange your appointment.

If you develops any stomach viruses / contagious illnesses within 48 hours prior to your appointment, please contact me to rearrange the appointment.

Cancellation and rescheduling policy:-

My cancellation and rescheduling policy (unless there is reasonable grounds for not meeting this requirement) is that I require 48 hours notice, if 48 hours notice is not given then you may be subject to forfeiting the appointment if this appointment is one of a pre booked package appointment, or you will be subject to a 50%  charge of the appointment value. 

If you breach the cancellation and rescheduling policy on two or more occasions:-

If you breach the cancellation and rescheduling policy on more than two occasions you will be required to pay for the full value of the appointment upon booking which is non refundable even if you do not attend or reschedule. You will not be charged extra. If you are not able to do this you will not be able to book an appointment. 

Payment policy:-

I require payment of either exact cash of the appointment value or via bank transfer on the same day as your appointment. 

Package Treatments:-

Package treatments are 6 or 10 treatments paid for upon booking your first treatment. You receive a discount equivalent to 1 free treatment.  

It is compulsory that each treatment has no longer than 6 weeks between them (although, it is usually recommended that you have each treatment around 2 to 4 weeks apart to maximise the benefits of the treatments). 

Rescheduling appointments:- 

It is understandable that treatments booked in advance may need to be rescheduled. You can reschedule a treatment with reasonable notice. You must give a minimum of 48 hours notice to reschedule an appointment. Please see my cancellation and rescheduling policy. 

Any request to reschedule an appointment with less than above notice due unreasonable circumstance/ reasons will not be rebooked and you will forfeit the treatment at your own cost and no money will be refunded and an additional appointment to cover the forfeited appointment will not be booked.  

If you try to reschedule on more than two occasions for the same treatment without reasonable grounds all of your package treatment appointments will be cancelled and you will not be refunded. 
 

You will then be required to book an appointment on an ad-hoc basis at the set treatment prices and you may also be subject to a non-refundable booking fee (which will be deducted off of the value of the treatment cost on completion of the appointment).  

Cancellations:- 

You cannot cancel and/or be refunded for the package treatment cost unless it is mutually agreed that you have reasonable grounds to do so (for example, if myself or a GP have advised that you should no longer receive massage treatments due to a new medical investigation which may result in contraindications from receiving a massage treatment).  

If it is mutually agreed that your package treatments should be refunded, then you will receive a refund of the cost of the treatment package divided by 6 and this figure will be deducted off of the total package cost for each appointment you have already attended, for example: 

You booked the 6 X 30 minute package treatments at £125.00. This means each treatment cost is £20.83.  

You have attended 2 appointments. 

Therefore you will be refunded £125.00 - £41.66 = £83.34.  

Absence from an appointment without prior communication:- 

If you do not turn up for a package treatment appointment without good reason, you will forfeit this appointment and you will not be refunded or rescheduled for this particular appointment (for example, if you do not arrive to your second scheduled appointment, your next appointment will be your third scheduled appointment and so on, resulting in you potentially only receiving 5 of your scheduled 6 appointments). 

Applicable fees:-

Failure to comply the Intelligent Touch Terms and Conditions, illness, cancellation and rescheduling policies it may result in your appointment being cancelled and chargeable and failure to comply to payment terms and conditions may result in you not being able to book any future appointments.
